The Chiong murder case was a trial about an incident in Cebu, Philippines. This is about 2 sisters, Marijoy and Jacqueline Chiong, who were kidnapped outside a mall in Cebu. Allegedly the men took turns raping the sisters and murdered them after. Marijoy's body was found but Jacqueline's body is still missing till today. The thing is, 6 men were convicted of committing the crime including Francisco Juan "Paco" Larrañaga who was actually in Manila at the time the crime happened. For reference Manila is in another part of the Philippines, Luzon and Cebu is in Visayas. You'd need to ride an airplane from Manila to get to Cebu. Paco is now at the Madrid Central Penitentiary at Soto del Real to serve the remainder of his sentence. Recently, there have been photos of the Chiong family surfacing where the people say that one of the daughters looks like Jacqueline, the girl whose body wasn't found.
